Jason has assisted clients with the sale and purchase of motel, caravan park and tourist accommodation businesses for over 15 years and provides thorough and considered advice in regard to the Contract and, where the business involves a lease, the terms and conditions of the Lease.

It is important to Jason that the clients accountant and/or business advisor are involved in the transaction so that issues in regard to entity structuring, price apportionment, land tax and stamp duty can be identified and brought to the clients attention.

Jason will involve you in his analysis of the Contract and (where applicable) the Lease so that you understand the commercial and practical consequences of the Contract conditions and the lease conditions. Generally, the Lease conditions will operate for extensive periods (sometimes up to 30 years) and the practical consequences of the lease conditions will be felt for years to come.
